Two Beautiful Ubuntu Oneiric Ocelot Wallpapers

As an Official Ubuntu Member I am usually “in the know” on projects, dates, deadlines and more. Somehow, I missed the current cutoff deadline for the Oneiric wallpaper submissions on Flickr. Entirely my fault for not finding the proper avenues listing the cutoff dates for submissions. I have two wallpapers that I was patiently waiting to get into the running for a chance to be selected. Hopefully someone can help me get these in? I never did come across the deadline date, which is odd since I follow many sites and forums.

In any event, I hope you like my two even if they dont get in! Click each photo to see them full size so you can download them.

3 Submissions for Natty Wallpaper

One thing I love about Ubuntu is that it is community driven. Regular users can come in and help report bugs, fix bugs, and even submit wallpaper ideas for the next release.

Here are my 3 submissions so far for the 11.04 Natty Narwhal release. I hope to get some more posted soon:

Ubuntu Wallpaper 10.10

I thought I would create an original wallpaper today. I wanted to merge a variety of ideas Ive held in my head for some time and finally got a chance to do it. Hope you like! As always, left clicking the image should bring it full screen so you can right click and save it to your computer.
