Google Phases Out Microsoft Windows

It has started folks! This is good linux news! Google announced it is phasing out Microsoft Windows because of security reasons. For years now the big internet companies (Google, Yahoo, etc) have allowed linux to be an option to use at work. With Google leaving Microsoft Windows in the dust and giving employees the option of linux based and Mac systems only, the tide is changing for us linux users. I really think this is going to open doors and accelerate the creation of new and better apps for linux. Time for a beer!

I am a linux user for over 10 years and Ubuntu linux is my only operating system. I originally made the jump from Windows to Ubuntu and open source back in early 2007 (using Ubuntu 6.10) for privacy and virus concerns.
